Laptops – now more affordable than ever before
Laptops are nowadays more affordable than ever and there are many options within good price ranges to appeal to customers all ages and preoccupations. From the savvy student to the business-focused people, there is something on the market for everyone, but when it comes to buying the best laptops for the cheapest price, the time is definitely Black Friday.
As was the case with previous Black Friday promotions, this year will probably feature a number of doorbuster deals on laptops both mainstream and latest range. Of course, only a few lucky people will get to grab these deals because retailers usually have them for a limited time only and in limited quantities.
If you miss out on Black Friday deals
As a deal hunter, you may have felt disappointed in the past to miss out on a best deal, but looking on the upside of things, if you don’t score on Black Friday, you can expect to find a load of promotions on Cyber Monday.
We saw this last year when retailers kept dropping prices on laptops a good number of days following Cyber Monday so you have another chance to find plenty of discounts for a variety of models and makes then.
What retailers and what laptops you should expect to buy
Thinking back to 2015, the year that saw serious discounts from Fry’s Electronics, Office Depot / Office Max, Best Buy and Staples, all of which reduced prices for budget laptops and powerful machines alike, it’s safe to say we can expect the same retailers to take the lead on 2016 Black Friday laptop deals.
Chromebooks have probably reached their cheapest point already, so we won’t probably see these dropping lower than last year’s price which was $94.99 for Acer 11.6” Chromebook, sold by Office Depot and Office Max.
Best Buy is the source for lowest price new technology, respectively laptops and you should expect to pay about $100 to $149 for budget systems and up to $500 for name brand laptops with good features.
Expect to find something as powerful as Core i7 Broadwell processor even in the $400 to $450 price range although these deals may come from retailers others than Best Buy. Definitely keep an eye on Dell online shopping platform as they will be offering Black Friday discounts. Also check Microsoft and HP, two other manufacturers that carried Black Friday promotions in the past.

Although many older models go on sale during Black Friday, there’s a very good chance around this time to find current generation laptops for not a great deal of extra cash and it definitely pays, in the long run, to invest in higher performing doorbusters, which you should be able to shop at about $300 to $500.
